My grandfather James Noble being in the second row centre, tweed jacket. Unfortunately my knowledge of my grandfather's role is quite sketchy. I know he lived in Ceylon until 1914 and that he was married there in Hatton in June 1914. I have a gold pocket watch presented to my grandfather by colleagues at Cargills at this time and takes pride of place in family memorabilia.
