The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Brazil participated at the Bazar de Comida e Cultura Internacional 2023 (International Food and Culture Bazaar 2023) which was held at the Museu de Arte de Brasilia (MAB) on 03 June 2023.
The event attracted over 3,000 visitors and the Sri Lankan stall showcased Sri Lankan unique cuisines, products, tourism, and culture. Visitors to the Sri Lanka stall tasted the Sri Lankan foods and Ceylon tea.
Leaflets on Sri Lanka tourism in Portuguese language were distributed among the visitors with a view to promote Sri Lanka as an attractive tourist destination for Brazilian and South American tourists.
Over 40 Embassies from four continents (Asia Pacific, Europe, Americas, and Oceania) participated at the event and showcased their unique and traditional dishes as well as art and crafts to the visitors.
