Shows three generations of Parry. The bearded gentleman (one from the left) is Thomas Sparke Parry and on his left (behind the post) is his son Hugh Parry. Seated (in the white blouse) is Hugh's wife Elizabeth and the young boy is William Sparke Parry (my wife's grandfather).

This and the next picture could well be the same place (windows/building style look the same) but have no idea where.

A particularly interesting picture with the rows of plantings stretching up the slope at the back. There seem to be so many children in the picture!

Hugh Parry is at the left with William seated on the step next to him. The lady seated next to William is possibly his grandmother (Thomas's wife)

Thomas Sparke Parry was my wife's great-great-grandfather and was the owner of the Hardenhuish estate from 1885-1892. Her great-grandfather, Hugh Parry, was manager there from 1883-1888, he is also listed as manager of Lammermoor, Claremont and Ella-Oya at various times between 1880 and 1891. Her grandfather, William Sparke Parry, was born in Sri Lanka in 1887.

We think this might be Hardenhuish estate as there seem to be three or four versions of these pictures of which these two are the best/clearest.
