Group photo taken in c. 1950 showing a new tea estate manager being welcomed and the old manager being farewelled by estate staff. I don't know the name of the estate (could have been in either Haputale or Halgranoya), but the new manager (sitting in the front row with umbrella) is G. Speldewinde, my uncle.

This bungalow was occupied by a Mr J. Molligoda and his family, and he went on to becoming a Visiting Agent. I think this bungalow is either in Haputale or Nuwara Eliya.
