Dickwella Estate, belonging to Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC, continues its record-breaking run for supreme quality Uva seasonal teas.
Marketing its teas under the St. James selling mark, an Invoice of Pekoe1 grade surpassed their own record of last week – Rs. 1,750 per kilogram – with a new All Time High for this grade by achieving Rs. 2,150 per kilogram.
This is third consecutive week that St. James has surpassed their own record. Dickwella Estate is managed by Regional Manager Chaminda Perera and the factory in the capable hands of A.M. Shajahan. This tea was purchased by St. Clair Teas Ltd., and successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
Dickwella Estate is located in Hali Ella, and in the Uva Medium elevational category.
